Director of Photography — Beni Mellal, Morocco. Building images for short fiction and commercial work, frame by frame, light by light.
My name is Younes Dyan, from Beni Mellal, Morocco. I trained in Réseaux Informatiques (Computer Networks) at the professional baccalaureate level — a technical foundation that, somewhere along the way, turned toward image instead of infrastructure.
What started as helping a friend on set grew into a real practice: reading light, choosing lenses, building a look shot by shot. I've since worked across camera, assistant direction, and editing on independent short films and commercial productions shot around Beni Mellal.
I'm currently a certified Colorist and Editor trained on DaVinci Resolve, and I'm looking for a stage (internship) in the image department — camera, DIT, or color — to keep sharpening the craft on a bigger set.
